Overview

This support article demonstrates how to change, or reset, the password on an existing email account.

Once you have updated the email account password, you will then immediately need to update the email password on all devices which are accessing the email account.
If this is not completed promptly you run the risk of your Public IP blocked to our hosted server due to many failed login attempts.

Instructions

  1. Log into Plesk via your Conetix Account
  2. Click on the ‘Mail’ tab on the left-hand side of Plesk.

  3. Click on the address of the email account that you would like to change the password for.

  4. Enter your new password in the ‘Password’ and the ‘Confirm Password’ field. You can also click the ‘Generate’ button, which will automatically generate a secure password for your email account.
    If you do generate a random password, make sure you click the ‘Show’ button so you can take note of what the password will be set to.

  5. Click ‘OK’
