Overview

SharePoint is an online storage and collaboration platform, which is included in a number of Microsoft 365 Licenses. You may however have trouble finding a list of all of the SharePoint Sites that you have access to, as by default SharePoint only shows you the Sites that you have Followed.

This article aims to help you locate and Follow the Sites that you have access to in SharePoint.

Instructions

  1. Log into SharePoint.
    • This can be accessed by logging into office.com, and clicking the SharePoint icon from the left-hand menu.
    • If you don’t see the SharePoint icon, click the menu button in the top-left, then choose SharePoint from the list;

  1. From the Home tab, you should see a list of Sites that you are currently Following.
    However, in the case that you haven’t Followed a site yet, you’ll likely not see anything listed;

  2. Navigate to the Search bar at the top of the page, then enter the following and click “Show more results”: contentclass:STS_Site

  3. A list of all Sites that you currently have access to will be presented to you;

  4. Click on one of the Sites that you wish to Follow.
  5. Click the “Not Following” button in the top-right of the page in order to Follow the Site;

  6. You will now be able to find a list of all Followed Sites on your SharePoint Home tab;

As you’re only able to do this for one Site at a time, you may need to repeat the above steps until you’ve Followed all of the required Sites.
