Overview

This article describes how to move an existing Plesk Subscription to another Plesk Customer.

This support article is for Client’s who have VPS hosting with admin user access.

Instructions

  1. Log in to Plesk as admin user.
  2. If Plesk Customer already exists, proceed to Step 9.
  3. Click on Customers and then Add Customer.

  4. Enter the Contact Name and Email Address of your customer:
    N.B. If you don’t want your customer to receive Plesk Notifications for their hosting, set email to your email address of choosing for you to receive Plesk Notifications.

  5. (Optional) Enter any additional customer information you’d like to be visible in Plesk:

  6. Under Access to Plesk create a unique username for the customer and use Generate to create a strong password:

  7. Under Subscription -> Unselect Create subscription for the customer -> Add Customer.

  8. Page will refresh and you will see newly created Plesk Customer with no Subscription attached.

  9. Next we need to move existing Plesk Subscription to the new Plesk Customer.
  10. Click on Subscriptions.

  11. Next Search for Subscription to be moved -> Tick Checkbox -> Change Subscriber.

  12. Next enter Customer Name -> Search -> Tick Radio Button.
    You will see to the right under Domains is 0 -> Then Next.

  13. Check to Confirm New owner and Subscription to be move is correct, then scroll down the page and click Finish.

  14. Page will refresh to see Subscription has been moved to new Plesk Customer account.

Due to the Subscription being moved to New Plesk Customer and if DNS is with Conetix,
DNS will require re-syncing to New Plesk Customer from our Conetix Name Servers.
Please contact Conetix Support with Subscription/Domain to resync.
