Overview
If you’ve attempted to login to your Plesk based Virtual Private Server, and see the following error:

The error does not mean the license key is invalid but simply that the server has run very low on memory.
This is generally a sign that you need more memory for your VPS to ensure it’s stable and doesn’t affect the performance or reliability of the sites.
Instructions
- If the error was temporary, you can click the “Retrieve Keys” to run through the process of checking the key:
If this was successful, we recommend using the Plesk Repair Kit and the Plesk Advanced Monitoring to look for anomalies. - You can also attempt to use the Plesk emergency repair tools to free up memory. To do this, add /repair to the end of your Plesk URL. For example:
https://<yourserveraddress>:8443/repair
You should then see the Free Up Memory button: - As a last resort, you can trigger a restart of your VPS either via the repair tools or via the Conetix Control Panel.
- Lastly, if you’re not sure of what the issue is or want one of our team to take a look, please don’t hesitate to contact us and we will look into it for you.
