Conetix provides free DNS hosting as part of any web hostingVPS or domain registration. To take advantage of this system, you will need to update the nameserver settings at your domain registrar (if it’s not Conetix) to point at our systems.

Updating Nameservers in Godaddy

  1. Sign in to your GoDaddy Domain Portfolio.
  2. Select the checkboxes next to the domains you’ll be updating. Or, select the checkbox next to Domain Name and then choose Select All.

  3. Select Nameservers from the action menu.
  4. Click I’ll use my own nameservers and add the below records:
    • ns1.conetix.com
    • ns2.conetix.com
  5. Select Save, then Continue to complete your updates.
    • If your domain has Domain Protection, you’ll need to verify your identity. Usually, Godaddy will ask you to enter the one-time password we sent to your registrant email address. You can check your registrant contact email address here.

You’ll see a Success confirmation letting you know the nameservers have been updated. Most DNS updates take effect within an hour, but could take up to 48 hours to update globally.
