Overview

This support article describes how to restore website files or folders using Acronis Backup via Plesk
You need to have a Conetix Hosting Subscription with Acronis Backup included.

Instructions

  1. Log into your Plesk hosting subscription.
  2. Website & Domains tab should load by default.

  3. Change your View style to Dynamic List;

  4. Under the Dashboard tab of the website you’d like to restore, click Acronis Backup;

  5. Click on the Date from which you want to restore Website files.

  6. Click on Files.

  7. By default Website files for a Plesk Hosting Subscription are located in the httpdocs.
    You can confirm by looking under the Website & Domains tab.

    If you need to restore the entire Website Files, click on the checkbox beside httpdocs, then Recover.

    If specific Folders or Files need to be restored within the httpdocs, you will the need to click on the httpdocs and navigate to file or folder, tick the check boxes of the Folder or Files you wish to restore, then click Recover
  1. A Popup box will appear then click Recover.

Advice

If you are restoring due to Website being Compromised/Hacked select the option,
Delete any files in the original location that were created after the backup to remove any backdoor malicious files.

  1. You will then see a progress of the Folder selected being restored

  2. You have successfully restored your Website files.
