Overview
This article will step you through saving an email and then sending that email as an attachment. This would need to be done if you are sending an example of a Spam or a bounce back email to the Conetix Support team for troubleshooting or diagnosis.
Instructions
Saving an Email
- Open the email that needs to be sent to the Conetix Team.
- Click on File in the top left:
- Click on Save As:
- Name the file Requesting support for spam or bounce back related issues. If you are saving multiple emails add a number after each file:
- Click Save to save the email to your Documents folder.
Attaching the Saved Email
- Click New Email in Outlook.
- Click on “Attach File” in the ribbon:
Then click on Browse This PC… from the drop-down menu: - A new window will open. Navigate to your Documents folder to find the saved email, select the email file, then click Insert:
- Once the email has been attached, enter an appropriate Subject Line, write a brief description into the email body/text, and address the email to
- Once you have sent your email, you should receive an automatic email response with a Ticket/Service Number within 5-10 minutes.
If you do not receive a response with a ticket number, please contact the support team on 1300 789 260, as your email may have been blocked due to the contents of the attached file.
