This article will detail the process of configuring and securing a Let’s Encrypt Certificate for your Plesk Hosted Email Service.

Instructions

1. Login to Plesk.

2. Navigate to SSL/TLS Certificates as shown below.

Information

To issue a Let’s Encrypt Certificate for Plesk Emails and autodiscover records, you will need to reassign the existing Let’s Encrypt Certificate.

3. Select Reissue Certificate.

4. Tick Assign the certificate to mail domain. If you would like to secure your Webmail client and the www record, tick those boxes as well.

If you would like to secure any additional sub-domains, you may wish to issue a Wildcard Certificate.

Warning

The DNS records for webmail, www. and the autodiscover records need to already exist in the DNS zone. These will be automatically added by Plesk if the DNS is managed through Conetix.

The Let’s Encrypt Certificate will not be deployed if your DNS records do not point to your site with Conetix.

When ready to proceed, select Get it free.

You have successfully issued a Let’s Encrypt Certificate for your Plesk Hosted Email Service. You will now be able to use your domain as the incoming and outgoing mail server.

Example Incoming/Outgoing Mail Server:
Incoming: yourdomainname.help
Outgoing: yourdomainname.help
