Client VPS – Whitelist IP address for remote access with Imunify360

Overview

Conetix does not allow remote SSH/MariaDB access for our shared hosting servers.

You need to have VPS hosting with Conetix and email request to to open SSH/MariaDB access at our Gateway/Firewall.

This support article describes how to Whitelist Public IP via Imunify360 Firewall to allow remote access to port/services e.g. SSH/MariaDB.

Instructions

1. Login into Plesk
2. Once logged into Plesk -> In the Lefthand Nav, click on Imunify
   
3. Next click on Firewall tab, then PORTS.
   
4. All open, except specified should be selected , then to the right click Add.
   
5. Enter Port number, enable TCP, Enter comment (If Required), add remote Public IP to Whitelist, then Add PORT.
   Example for default MariaDB Port 3306.
   
   
6. You should then see the rule added, click drop down arrow to show Whitelisted IP/s.
   
7. Repeat process to allow remote access to other service e.g. SSH.
