Overview

Once you have placed your order for more disk space and Paid your invoice. You need to allocate the disk space via Windows Disk Manager.

Prerequisite

  • Remote Desktop Administrator User Access
  • Order for new resource needs to be paid.

Instructions

1. Remote Desktop (RDP) to your Virtual Machine VPS/VM

      2. Open Server Manager, then click on the Tools menu → Computer Management:

      3. Click on Storage → Disk Management:

      4. You should see the unallocated space:

      Right click on the existing partition you wish to allocate the new resource to and select Extend Volume:

      This will run through a wizard and automatically select the required space to expand to:

      5. Click Next → Next → Finish, then confirm it has expanded:

      Your additional disk space should now be allocated.
