Plesk Obsidian Installs
End-of-Life (EOL) support for the following operating systems by their respective upstream vendors:

Debian 10 – EOL June 30, 2024
CentOS 7 & CloudLinux 7 – EOL June 30, 2024
Ubuntu 18.04 – EOL since May 2023

Introducing Extended Lifecycle Support (ELS):

We understand that migrating to a new operating system can be a complex process. To provide you with additional time and peace of mind, Plesk has introduced the Extended Lifecycle Support (ELS) program. This program will run:

  • CentOS 7 & CloudLinux 7
  • Ubuntu 18.04 & Debian 10

The ELS program is applicable for Plesk Obsidian users only.
Other unsupported Plesk versions such as Plesk Onyx are not included.

Benefits of ELS:

  • Continued Security Updates: During this period, we’ll partner with TuxCare to deliver critical security updates for your CentOS 7, CloudLinux 7 and Ubuntu 18.04 servers, keeping them protected from potential threats. Please note that servers running Debian 10 are not eligible for TuxCare. Plesk will also continue to deliver full-scope product updates.
  • Access to Support: Plesk will continue to accept technical support requests for Plesk Obsidian users.
  • Smoother Transition: The ELS program gives you valuable time to plan your migration to a supported operating system or explore other options at your own pace.

Important Note: There will be an additional monthly fee per qualifying license to cover the additional security updates starting August 1, 2024.

Such fee will continue being charged until the underlying operating system will have been upgraded to a supported version.
