Overview

This article aims to guide you through updating the Customer a Subscription is assigned. You may wish to change the Customer when you create a new subscription as Plesk assigns subscriptions to the Administrator Account by default.

Instructions

  1. login to your VPS and click on Subscriptions:

  2. Search for the subscription you wish to change the Customer for:

  3. Tick the Box for the Subscription you are changing and click Change Subscriber:

  4. A list of existing Customers will be displayed. The current Owner is noted in bold:

  5. If you have multiple Customers, you can search for a specific one using the search options:

  6. Select a new owner for the subscription by clicking the selection dot to the left of the Name column then click Next:

  7. Check all details of the new subscriber including the IP address being assigned. You can select a new IP address if you have more than one allocated to your server.

Moving to a new Customer that has a Service Plan assigned will modify the available resources for the subscription you are moving.

  1. Click Finish:

For any domain under a subscription pointed to Conetix name servers, please contact our support team to have DNS associated with the new customer. This will prevent DNS modification issues in the future.
