Overview
There has been a recent wave of scam emails sent out from the DRM Australia organisation claiming a domain name requires payment for “Renewal notifications”.
Note: the listed Item is for “Renewal notifications” rather than an actual renewal of the domain’s registration.
They will generally include contact details pulled from your domain name’s registrant information and include links to an invoice they claim should be paid.

Action needed: keep www.exampledomain.com.au renewal notification service active.
Hi Your company name team,
We are set to extend the domain renewal notification service for the domain below on 11/Aug/2026. To keep the service active without interruption, please complete payment now.
Domain: www.exampledomain.com.au
Renewal term: 1 years
Amount due: 187.00 AUD
Renewal date: 11/Aug/2026

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
If you don’t wish to renew, please reply to this email to cancel at least 5 days before 11/Aug/2026; otherwise, we’ll assume you wish to continue.
