Overview

Customers using CloudFlare for DNS hosting may experience an issue where they are logged out of Plesk immediately after attempting to login. This happens only when your VPS DNS hostname record is proxied by CloudFlare.

To resolve this issue the VPS DNS hostname record needs to have the proxy setting disabled.

Instructions

  1. Login to Cloudflare with your CloudFlare username and password:
    https://dash.cloudflare.com/login
why does plesk keep logging me out?
  2. Search for the VPS domain name, then select it:
why does plesk keep logging me out?
  3. In the left hand menu, select DNS:
why does plesk keep logging me out?
  4. In the DNS management section, find your server hostname record:
why does plesk keep logging me out?
  5. Under the Actions column, click Edit:
why does plesk keep logging me out?
  6. Under the Proxy status column, toggle the Proxied switch to disabled:
why does plesk keep logging me out?
  7. Click Save:
why does plesk keep logging me out?
  8. After ten minutes you will be able to login to Plesk without being logged out immediately.

We recommend speaking to your developer or IT Team regarding the above changes if you’re unsure.
