Overview
This support article describes how to update your IMAP/POP email account password in Outlook for Mac email client. You may need to do this if you have recently changed your email account’s password.
Instructions
- Open Outlook App.
- In the top menu, click on Tools then Accounts…
- Click on your email account on the left (if more than one account exists), then update the Password field with your new/current password.
If your Outgoing server is the same as your Incoming server, click on More Options…
Update the Password field, then click OK. - Click on the red cross to save and close.
