iPhone – Update Incoming and Outgoing Email Settings

Overview

This support article describes how to update your incoming and outgoing hostname email settings on an iPhone.

Instructions

1. Open the Settings App.
   
   
2. Go to the Mail setting.
   
   
3. Select Accounts.
   
   
4. Select your existing mailbox.
   a. In this Example, it is Your email address
   
   
5. Select Account under IMAP or POP.
   
   
6. Enter the new Hostname in Incoming Mail Server.
   
7. Select SMTP under Outgoing Mail Server.
   
   
8. Select your outgoing server under Primary Server.
   
   
9. Enter the new Hostname.
   
10. Press Done to verify the new credentials in Outgoing.
    
11. Back in the Incoming settings, press Done again to finish verification.
