DNS resolution for the domain no longer works which stops any associated services from resolving.

What happens if my domain drops?

The domain is now available for registration again, anyone can register the domain.
In some cases, if the domain is desirable (5 letters or less) or has been registered for a long time (3+ years) it can be picked up by a domain drop service and they auction the domain to the highest bidder.
