Overview

In some instances you may have multiple staff accessing a single Microsoft 365 account on multiple devices, in these cases there are different ways that Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) requirements can be satisfied.

SMS on Shared Mobile Device

If your staff have a shared mobile device that’s always in the office, MFA codes can be set up to be sent to the mobile number for that device with our guide here:

Authentication App on Shared Mobile Device

If the mobile device does not have a mobile number, setting up an Authenticator App is the next best solution:

Voice call Phone Option

In some instances having a single device setup to receive MFA codes is not feasible. In cases where your staff are all in the same office; the best option is setting up verification via automated phone call:
